Many of today’s buyers are looking for outdoor spaces that offer comfort, function, and entertainment (think fire pits, outdoor kitchen, and hammock areas).
A functional home office. At the start of COVID, many people made the transition to working from home—a trend that continues to be popular more than two years later. As such, many buyers are looking to buy properties with functional home offices so they have the space and separation they need to effectively work from home.
A spruced-up laundry room. COVID made many people prioritize cleanliness more than ever before, which translated to more cleaning—and more laundry. And because they are spending more time doing laundry, today’s buyers are looking for laundry rooms that are not only functional, but are well decorated.
